umm...

I don't have any memorable moments.. Well none that I can really think of right now.

Hey, now!

This is officially either the greatest or worst thing to ever happen to Star Wars. I'm going with the former.

Every time I log on, something interesting is happening. Can't say there is really one time that stands out more than another.

What doesn't kill you, only makes you stranger

Probably my first really big debate. Huge mess, but it taught me something about arguing over the Internet. You will always lose. Even if you won, you lost to someone.

Officium quod Fidelitas.

First year I ended up at PAX for the Halo 3 launch stuff. Surreal getting mobbed by the community and getting to meet so many people.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

There are many powers in the world, for good or for evil. Some are greater than I am. Against some I have not yet been measured. But my time is coming.

When Old Papa Rich asked me out on a date. He'll say it never happened... But it did.
Oh it totally happened. Helveck wasn't a "fun date" so I never called him again.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

Halo 3's 'Iris' ARG was awesome.

Posted by: HalcylonShut up you. We want good memorable moments. Not the countless stream of angry pooheads making the same thread over and over we get over that. And yes I just said 'pooheads.' Haters gonna hate.
:P

Honestly? One of my most memorable moments would be... I think involving BUNGLE. Killane, former Bungie Employee, paid for four of us to enter in the BUNGLE Tournament (an oxymoron, I know) for the Child's Play charity. And I'm proud to say I helped test a few maps weeks before! But the entire experience was memorable thanks to him. It was for a good cause. Our opponents we lost to were rude (we would say good game they said... blast what was it, dmg? Something like them telling us to hurry up was it?), but other than that it was a fantastic experience. And this site provided it for me.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

Makes me laugh just thinking about it.

Another favorite thread of mine was a long conversation in the Underground about Halo 3 before it was announced. Mostly because it lasted days, involved many people, had humor and serious discussion, and stayed on topic thanks to constant watch of moderators. Basically it was the best kind of discussion thread that Bnet can manage. I'll always appreciate the effort that GameJunkieJim in particular put into the thread to keep the conversation civil. Sure it was all pointless speculation, but what else are we here for? >_>

Speaking of members who've faded away, I had plenty of great discussions with Mabian back in the day. I don't think I've ever had as many interesting conversations with one person.

The day the first trailer came out for the Beta and the Pro Pipe got it's name from the community and Bungie ran with it.
