Subject: My Halo 4 Theory. *Please read, makes sense*

Hello everybody, and thank you for looking at my Halo 4 Theory. Most of what I say is based on information found on Halo Waypoint, which you can see for yourself.

Cryptum: A sealed structure where a warrior servant would enter a self-imposed exile, hibernating in a meditative state of contemplative transcendence called "timeless xankara"

Wisdom of Harbou / Strength of Lang Two forces that hold the millenial seal on the Didact's Cryptum, barring entry to all but a Forerunner.

Okay, so, this implies that the Didact is still alive and in something like cryo-stasis, and only a Forerunner can wake him up.

"Uncategorized" in Beasterium:About John 117 / Spartan-IIs: "It certainly meets all the required traits of a Reclaimer, but its physicality is notable."

Master Chief has been called "Reclaimer" and "Forerunner" by 343 Guilty Spark. Maybe, the Reclaimers were supposed to be a species that would evolve to retake the Forerunner's place as masters of the galaxy, or....bring the Forerunners back?
And to be brought back, maybe the Didact had to be awakened, among other Forerunners. And if Master Chief meets the standards of these Reclaimers, then they technically are Forerunners, at least in the Monitor's terms. So, what if, Master Chief crash lands inside of the huge blue portal thing seen in the Halo 4 trailer, goes to the Didact's Cryptum, and awakens him so that the Forerunners can retake the galaxy?

And since there is no Librarian to dampen the Didact's rage, then, if he gets angry, he might just feel like destroying Humanity.

Explosions will ensue.

Also, does anyone know what a 'caveat' in the Beasterium is?

@accordingto343

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

The thing about Reclaimers is that EVERY human is a Reclaimer.

Do not waste your tears, I was not born to watch the world grow dim. Life is not measured in years, but by the deeds of men.

We should know better, because we are better.

Except Didact's Cryptum has already been opened by Bornstellar.

It's been a long time since a really good theory has been stated. And unfortunately that tradition continues.
First off, all humans are reclaimers. Master Chief wasn't even the first person 343 Guilty Spark tries to use to activate Halo.
Secondly, 110,000 years before the "Halo event" humans were on the same level of technology as the Forerunners, tier one. However after the flood had damaged the human colonies, the humans attacked the forerunners and this broke into a full war. The forerunners had defeated the humans and drove them back into a caveman-like state (for a lack of a better word). Later after the war, Didact learned that humans attacked out of spite and fear, because of the flood. He then felt bad for the punishment the humans were given. For more info go here
Of course now that Frankie is on charge of writing a Halo story again I'm sure something like that will happen. Afterall they did add 5 new Halo rings and I'm sure more changes will occur.
