Hi All.
Lets get this topic Started. This topic will discuss why no bloom would be bad if implimented into Reach. The discussion will involve points such as distance and luck over skill.
*Said players in discussion would never miss a shot if no bloom was present*
Distances:
Short(close range) Needler spawn to needler spawn in R2 Asylum is maximum for short range: If you complain about getting 5 shot by some spamming noob OMG HE SPAMMAH HE BAD. No. The distance is close enough for 85% or the reticle to stay completely on the head at full bloom, slow down a tiny bit for shot 5boom 100% hit ratio(If you can aim) at this distance. Bloom in this case may reward the spammer but hey even if it was no bloom they would have got the headshot anyway BECAUSE THEY WERE AIMING AT YOUR HEAD IN THE FIRST PLACE.
Medium. (Red landing on Arena zealot to red health jump up from basement) WILL COMPLETE SECTION SOON.
Long range. Can you imagine no bloom over anylong range distance. It would make any BTB map unplayable and it would increase camping so you don't get team shot cross map anytime you poke your head into the open. Even from spawn to spawn on Enclosed it would be a huge problem, players would become more campy due to super fast long range kill times. Completely ruining the experience and skill, any one can full RoF at a head and kill a player due to the magnetism. Camping players can kill people in seconds if enemies just pop their heads out.
Tl;Dr - no bloom = bad ---- bloom = good
