Ok, relatively new player to Reach, however I am pretty experienced fps gamer, and before you ask or blast away no, I dont suck, I have a very good KDR of over 2000 in MW, however I am getting upset with something that always happens to me in Reach when playing SWAT. I take a shot and I watch my opponents head JERK from the bullet impact and they LIVE, this happend 8 times in the last game to me on Boardwalk and 5 times they killed me with one shot! One time I shot the dude twice in the head from the side point blank, literally from 4 feet away, his head jerked twice and he ran off.

I know this is not just me sucking or me not quite aiming right because I sniped a guy from a position on Pinnacle, watch his head bounce from the bullet impact, did not touch my thumbstick at all and did not change the angle at all, took another shot and killed him, so wth did the first shot not kill him? This situation has occured almost every single game that I have played on Reach, where I watch a bullet bounce my opponents head and he lives, does anyone have an explanation as to why this is happening, and dont use the "noob" excuse or the "you must suck excuse" cause I am not a noob and I def dont suck at this game.

Thanks.

I was going to say maybe you don't aim that well, and then I was going to say okay maybe you have terrible internet connection, and then I was going to say... Well I give up actually.

Care to upload a game clip that you played where that problem persisted up to your fileshare so that we may take a look at what you're talking about?

Apocalypse: Its not bloom cause the reticule isnt moving in and out at all. For instance when I shot the dude in the side of the head I was standing at the bottome of the stairs, he was one level above me 4 feet away and I wasnt moving, the reticule was fine and placed it over the middle of his head and pulled the trigger twice, he ran off.

Here is my problem with the lag thought, if it was lag then when the bullet impacts the helmet the dude would still die. If that data transfer reads that the bullet strikes the helmet, even if it is late, it still sends it and it is still read as evidenced by the fact that the bullet strike made the helmet jerk. There is also no pause or skip in the game which would be normal if it was lag. One of the guys I shot was mid run his helemt jerked and he ran on his merry way with no lag in regards to his running or his jump as he realized I was there after the bullet hit him.

Please take the time to do a little research before you start flaming in the forums....

The greatest ignorance is to reject something you know nothing about

You have to remember this is halo, and its the same thing as getting extra hitmarkers on people in cod... its B.S. but it will always happen sometimes

I realize that but this doesnt happen once in awhile, this happens EVERY single game I play, in fact I cant think of a game that I have played in multiplayer when this has not happened at least once.
