You may be special but that doesn't mean you're useful

Have you ever looked back at your first posts on B.Net and regretted what you've written?

I just looked back in my history, and I'm disappointed at how much of a childish idiot I was. Creating arguments and reacting to troll bate.

This site has in some way made me try and be more mature so that i don't come across as a complete ass.

How about you ?

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

My post history doesn't go back that far. I kinda wish i could see my first posts though. It would be interesting to see how much my style has changed.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I regret nothing

No, but sometimes I see when I said something that I thought sounded okay but got mis-interpreted.

Mine has recently been filled with useless argument, I don't regret it.

  • 12.01.2011 2:55 PM PDT

I'm awesome...No seriously I am.

only made about one mistake ever in a post and i tried to be careful after that. but nothing too bad.

  • 12.01.2011 2:57 PM PDT

Definitely do, but I'm a better man now. Rose up from my own ashes.

My name is Tyler. Computers and Video games is what I love to do.

Back in the day when I was a noob I said some things that were, how should I say, "incorrect" thinking I knew what I was talking about, but other than that I'm fine with it.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

I regret the +20 bans I have on my belt... Well maybe not all of them. Some of them were worth it.

For some reason, my last viewable post is one from almost two weeks ago.

I regret being a mindless fanboy during the Halo 3 era instead of evaluating both the good and the bad of the game.

The majority of the post history that I regret is on my old account that I can't use anymore. Can't look back that far on this one because it only shows 12 pages but the other one will always be the same.

Foman has taught me much in the ways of posting. I typically sound like a childish idiot at least once a day though.

I joined when I was 18, which I guess is later than most, so nothing too embarrassing. Looking back though, a lot of my old posts were overly formal making me look like a robot / forum cop. I don't regret my beginnings here, I would just chill out and have more fun with the main forums if I could go back.

Most people would probably say any of the posts that got them banned, but for me, (excluding my posts that in which got me banned, because I regret posting those too) I would take back my posts from when I first started posting. I was very ignorant and posted what is considered 'spam', and I regret posting any of that.

I wish that I would have joined with a reasonable amount of knowledge about Bungie.net and posted with reason, and contributed as how I do now. When I first joined, I was like a spartain ken, except in my case, I was very ignorant about Bungie.net.

Why has this turned into a huge thread of confessions?

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

Pretty funny and retarded to look at, not to mention sometimes very embarassing, and I've only been a member for a year... (this account anyway)

I wonder what the future holds...

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.
