I went back to some of my first posts (and checked some of my PM's) I can't believe how stupid I was...

Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.

I regret nothing for it was what taught me.
Embarrassing it was, regretful no.

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

"I can count all the way to Potato"

nothing more really needs to be said. Shame this post will knock it off. Mind you, it is reborn into this post to live on another 250 posts. God speed retarded comment, god speed.

"That's about all that can be said for plots, which anyway are just one thing after another, a what and a what and a what.

Now try how and why."

I actually find it useful to look at stupid threads, such as this, when I start thinking negatively about a new user.

It helps remind me that I haven't always thought things through.

I didn't see anything wrong with that thread at all.

Maybe this is a better example of old stupidity.

Dear lord, what was I on back then?

Likewise.
All my interweb skillz and knowledge was acquired through this site, from things like memes to trolls to anything else that the world wide web had to offer.

Since my post history only goes back like 10 days at the most, no not really.

From when I originally started posting here? Oh yes.

You may be special but that doesn't mean you're useful

Wow I made this thread before I went out last night and just came back to see it.

I'm a college dropout.

Well this was my first forum, so my very first posts are probably stupid as hell. But besides that I'm fine with it.

I regret nothing.

at all, but I guess I made some threads some individuals found annoying, back in 2007, before Halo 3 came out.

That was also my first encounter with forums, now I'm very active in Norways Freakforum. And I have users everywhere.

I think most of my posts are decent, not much trash, I have got a few locked threads. but that's a while ago now.

Remember Elk

I don't regret anything, not even the posts leading to my warnings and my ban (even if getting brought down in a carpet doesn't feel as cool). Sure some of the things I have said might not be what I'd say if put in the same position today but really I focus more on the good times than the bad.

We all make mistakes. It's how we choose to learn from them that makes us who we are. It seems you learned from your mistakes and matured. Don't look at that like it's a bad thing.

Regretted? No. But I have learned from the mistakes I have made and done my best to improve them.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

I'm kind of mixed on my reactions to my recollection of what I used to post (like many of you, my first posts are a few thousand pages past the 12 that are listed). Some of them were very stupid.

I refused to capitalize anything when I first started posting here. That's why my username is not capitalized. I of course posted a bunch of inane dribble, as I mostly posted in Zanzi and the Flood. I was sometimes an -blam!- and sometimes an -blam!- forum cop. I'd frequently fall for obvious trolls and while I never overtly flamed, I'd fall for flame-bait.

I also seemed to have posted some damn funny and clever things back in the day. I recently cleaned a few hundred pages of old PMs out of my inbox. I'd randomly click on a few just to see what I was talking about, and I noticed that I had a penchant for clever irreverence, and long winded friendly rants. I spent most of that night laughing at stuff I had said, like a damn narcissistic, and going through nostalgic woes.

I guess its two sides of a coin, because while I don't seem to post as stupidly, I also don't post as interestingly. That's why I have mixed feelings when I think about my now unseen post history.

  • 12.02.2011 3:41 PM PDT

I always feel like my older posts are really immature.

Then I look at my recent posts and feel the same way.

I get told on a bi-daily basis by a specific member that I'm a huge -blam!- dick face and that nobody wants me here.

Then I look at my post history and realize that he's just super sensitive and that I'm nowhere near as douchey as some of the mythix (or former mythix.... *cough*)

Long story short: I have no regrets.

I hate you unless I'm drunk.

I feel that every member goes through a set of 'phases' while they're here.
New Guy Phase, Forum Cop Phase, Attention Seeking Phase, then generally you'll settle into the phase where you're here for the community, friends and to 'hang' out. Speaking only when you have something more to add, not because you want to be heard.

  • 12.02.2011 6:06 PM PDT

I'm going to invade your heart like a barn swallow high on milk chocolate and grandma love.

Fairness is only possible within the limited powers of man. Elsewhere, there is only chance.

Thus I refute thee.

Mmm that's fairly accurate.
