Noble 6: That's a one way trip...
Jorge: We all make it sooner or later. Better get going, Six, they're gonna need you down there. Listen, Reach has been good to me, it's time to return the favor. Don't deny me this... Tell em' to make it count.

When the game is over, the king and pawn go into the same box

If I still had friends playing reach, I'd search with a full party...

Ooh, I love those people, the ones who decide to throw everything and the kitchen sink at you, as if an M16 does anything to a T-90. Oh, MLG player with noobtube instead? Congrats! You blew off one of my ablative plates!

So if you play on a team that plays well together... you're bad?

If you play on a team and love to talk trash, but refuse to fight without the team, then you are bad, I'm hoping that is what the OP is trying to say.

I say it is perfectly true, one should not talk trash if they refuse to fight solo.

I will only play with a team in matchmaking. I will trash talk if the other team instigates it in some way. I will not play anyone 1v1 because I'm better than 99% of the population and I'd rather be getting credits than 15-0 ing some tard.

Halo: Reach is the beginning of a new age for gaming.
It proves that developers can get away with punishing their players instead of fixing their game....and yet the fanboys will still sing praises to them.

-blam!- all of you fanboys!

I would have to agree that full parties are pretty stupid.

You know 99% of your competition is going to be a bunch of randoms.

Yet you need the help of people who make a "LIFE" out of the game before you'll even consider playing the game.

I know your type.

And you do suck.

I know a few people who play CoD that absolutely WILL NOT PLAY unless they have a full team.

I mean come on.. 99% of your competition is not in a party. Have some balls and play solo now and then you -blam!- -blam!-s.

Full parties is what ruins games. You want full parties. go Do it at an actual lan tournament where prize money is involved. Or better yet go do it in your custom games, and quit trying to think your good by stomping on randoms in Matchmaking.

Most full parties have one purpose. Use all their super elite skills just to set themselves up to do something that is completely skill-less. Spawn camping.

Your full party.. ruined Halo.

i agree with this. back when i was a sophmore in high school (5 years ago) the halo 2 community was booming and i almost always had people to play with.

now with reach, i find myself going into games solo and for the most part, i can make a decent attempt at carrying my teammates. However, meeting full parties almost always ruins the experience for me.

yeah, sometimes they suck but for the most part we get destroyed. they have teamwork and it is very difficult to have teamwork going solo, especially when most people dont use their mics. I just wish that if you searched as a full party, matchmaking would match you up with another full, or almost full party.

Name's John. I'm a 21-year-old firefighter/EMT from lolhio who doubles as a die-hard Halo fan. I've been enjoying the franchise since 2001. My favorite iteration of Halo would have to be Halo 2 simply because I never got to experience the joy of a full-on Halo: CE LAN.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Aren't team-based games centered around, I dunno, teamwork? It's a lot easier to work with guys I know than a bunch of randoms without mics. Even with mics, randoms generally tend to not cooperate. It's also more fun to be able to talk to your buddies than listen to 12-year-olds screaming into their mics.

I will be the first to admit that I'm bad, but to say that somebody is bad simply because they search in parties is just pure ignorance.

My flamesuit is zipped and ready to go. Come at me, bro.

I never said simply playing in a party makes you bad, I said that playing in a full party and refusing to go solo for even 1 match to face a guy is what makes them bad.

I actually think what the OP meant to say was, playing with a team makes some players better than they really are.

All these guys rolling around with 2+ K/D for example, they probably wouldn't have that if they searched solo like a lot of us do.

I was more referring to the OP with that statement. The first paragraph was more of what I meant for you. Apologies for the confusion.

Which I can totally agree with. I can think of quite a few who would still have high K/D's, but it is certainly reasonable to assume some people wouldn't have as high K/D's if they searched solo.

But then, I don't understand why anyone would want to search solo when searching with parties is, in my opinion, infinitely more fun and an overall better alternative to solo team searching.

The Internet is an empowerment tool that's agnostic; it doesn't care about race, gender, or age.

I run full parties and never lose ya dig?

Last win streak was like 500

Lol losing.

How do you have a 2.13 K/D if you don't play with a team?

Shotgun camping and banshee whoring.

Isn't it obvious?
