To make this short and simple, there's a "badge" on Myspace called CodeBreaker that looks like something familiar.

Random Link to someone who has it

Too similar? If this has already been discussed, I'm sorry for bringing it up. I haven't been on Myspace in ages and I go on and see that and thought I would share it.

The Joyeuse IP Formula

Oddly this is familiar to me, as if it were from an old dream, but I can't exactly remember...

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”
- Dawes, A little bit of everything

Link is to a page that shows a badge that shows a fist clenching a lightning bolt, similar to that occasionally used by Bungie.

I don't mind much, I'm pretty sure Bungie didn't invent that image. Haven't there been threads about it showing up in books and other stuff from a while back?

Or maybe Achronos is the Tom from Myspace.

PEANUT-BUTTER SLAP!

Suspiciously similar, but I'm more concerned that people are still using myspace.

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

I am not aware that someone can claim the right to all images of a fist and a lightning bolt.

However, the colors make me believe Bungie's version is inspiration.

Giggity Giggity Goo - Quagmire

I'm pretty sure there has been images and pictures of people holding lightning bolts in their hands like that for centuries. Bungie didn't invent it.

And I'm aware that Bungie didn't invent that, but still... the colors just the fact that it looks so similar is interesting.

Quick, someone sue Ancient Greece for using Bungie's lighting-fist!

Also, it's just coincidence, no biggy.

Also also, who uses MySpace still?

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

The lightning Bolt and fist Bungie uses is also VERY similar to one that was in an older book. Forgot the name of it.

It is a sign of power, Bungie has a lot of ancient symbols and sayings.

I understand it's a widely used symbol. I was just pointing it out.

"I will show you how a true Prussian officer fights!"

"And i will show you where the iron crosses grow..."

- "Cross of Iron"

It will be a cold day in hell when Bungie links with myspace...
