OK man.
I didn't mean any disrespect by all of that. I completely support everyone's cause here, but I still think it shouldn't be so repetitive. I understand the repetitive threads asking for Halo 2. I understand how that's productive towards something to happen with it. Frankie has even mentioned that he has noticed how the fans want something to be done. It's just the repetitive inside the threads that have nothing to add to the thought that get me.

Yes, I AM just that awesome.

At that point you're just like the "MINE!" birds on Finding Nemo.
I love that movie.

"I'll tell you right now, if you ever see someone called ll wa1do ll... leave the game immediately. My friend knows him, I've been in his party a few times, do not mess with this guy. From what I've heard, he's the real deal. I also heard someone made a guy named Wa2do (similar to his name) and then he hacked that guy and boosted off his level." -From Minou on Bungie.net

The glitches in H2 added a whole other element to the game.
I agree with you, but what's the point in saying it if everyone else already has? It's like a broken record. It annoys me yet I agree with it. Isn't that a bit silly?

I completely understand man.

Do you want your map considered for Halo: Reach matchmaking? Does it support MM gametypes? Send off an email to cartographers@bungie.org or PM me a link and description to your map for submission to the Community Cartographers. I may respond to you for updates to your map, so be sure to be open for communication and critique.

Hi /r/halo on Reddit!

They were animation subsystem problems, which was beyond the scope of the patch size limits and I think it would have also broken LAN inter-operation to even fix them at that point. It would have more than likely required re-shipping all the maps in any case.

It didn't get fixed for Vista becaue Hired Gun was created to port the game and be dissolved. Something involved like digging into the animation system and fixing it was beyond their job title, and superbouncing was fixed (as mentioned earlier in the threaD) simply by upgrading to the latest Havok.

I don't think they can bring those back to be honest. I'm not sure how 343i creates remakes, but there are some left out CE glitches that go deeper in to the coding.
Like what? Combat Evolved Anniversary is Halo: Combat Evolved with a mask on it to make it look modern. It is the exact same coding. What glitches aren't in Anniversary that were in Combat Evolved?

Actually, no. Halo Anniversary functions a lot like Halo 1, but not quite the same. For instance, this classic trick doesn't work at all in CEA; the bumping simply doesn't happen, and the same is true in areas like the elevator control panels on AotCR.

I'm not sure how extensive the differences are, but I've been investigating them a little as part of a review. I've found at least very minor examples of differences in several facets of the game mechanics.

This is the average H2 Fanboy.
Xfire: JacobGRocks.
50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

SuperBounces were fixed in H2V due to a updated Havok, and the button glitches could not have been fixed with a simple TU, which is why they checked H3 for glitches.....even though there are a few in that.

Superbounces absolutely broke Matchmaking in certain playlists.

Broke custom games too. My brother would super bounce on top of the roof on zanzibar with sniper and stay there the entire time.
^ Haha

I would blame Stosh but in this particular case, it's mostly Rex's fault.

In my opinion the glitches made the game what it is. I always enjoyed trying to bounce in snipes or team slayer just to somehow get an advantage over the other team, or if someone else bounces with a sniper or something it was always fun to try and snipe them down, like on burial mounds or ascension. I remember spending hours when I first heard you could double shot, I couldn't believe it and spent like 5 months just trying to be able to use it in matchmaking / customs, I don't know if many of you attempt the double / quad shot but I try for it every time and I'd rather get it or die trying lol which is usually what I would do, which has costed me a lot of games and deaths. It was just so rewarding to finally learn a super bounce and use it in matchmaking to your advantage or to plant a 1-2 double or a quad on somebody haha in my opinion it made a statement and was just so rewarding to finally get one in game, since it was something no other game had, something extremely difficult to do that you actually had to practice. Still to this day I cant do the relic triple bounce though, I've spent days trying to do it and could never get the right height on the 3rd bounce =/.

Posted by: sdnomdEYou didn't read the rest of Grumpy and I's conversation, huh? He already showed me that it's not exactly different.

Posted by: Z71ONI suggest trying to post in paragraphs. If you don't it looks messy and turns around 80% of people away from reading your post.

From skimming through what you wrote I can see that you were just going on about how great the glitches were. I already stated earlier that it was not because the glitches were "cool" that they didn't remove them. The reason they didn't was because they couldn't. The ones that they could, they did. (Ex. Sword flying)

The glitches were awesome, but Bungie definitely would have fixed them if they could have. It's not a part of how they intended the game to function and therefore would have felt it best to fix it like any other glitch.
