After finishing Glasslands, sounds like ONI is preparing for a war with the elites. With building the Inifinity and the Spartan IV program, ONI could possibly be enemies to Master Chief in the next trilogy. Spartan vs Spartan, all hell will break loose.

READ IT.

I won the Star. With this on Week 18.

They said Halo 4, 5, and 6 were just the Chief...

But, Spartan IVs would be interesting as the new ODSTs...

nothing johnson has done.

He survived harvest, halo and made the leader of the Brutes back down. That's a fair effort if you ask me.

We are all going to get banned aren't we?

The only big deal about harvest was that it was first known contact, i don't remember johnson making tartarus "back down". I really hope you aren't talking about the end of halo 2 where he points a beam rifle at him.

i think they should as i would not want to play as a basic unsc marine and it might show a wider varity of spartans aswell as master chief

Could it be possible that we could see an entire new generation of Spartans in Halo 4? Glasslands pretty much confirms that there was a Spartan IV program (as I'm sure most of you already know) and that some Spartan IV's were assigned to the Infinity. As the how the Infinity directly is involved with the story of Halo 4 remains to be seen, but there is obviously much speculation to how the Infinity could be involved into the plot. I believe it's totally possible that we could see some Spartan IV's in Halo 4, but I highly doubt that they could top the awesomeness that is/was the Spartan II's.

you have to admit he does have a point, Colonel Ackerson's SPARTAN III's couldn't measure up to Halsey's SPARTAN II's because (1) Ackersons an idiot and didn't try to fully understand the Augmentation drugs, (2) although there were a lot more S-III's they weren't as effective, and (3) they couldn't even realize when they were severely injured!

sup.i love halo

Fred is dead
And Dr.Halsey spirited Kelly away on a Dropship from the UNSC Gettysburg to an unknown location.
so the chances of seeing them are very very slim

Not sure what you even mean by augmentations, and that was Gamma company only for point 3.

And if you think about it, it's a pro, not a con. They could keep fighting far longer then a Spartan II in similar health.

Well, since the Spartan/MJOLNIR Project has been a great success, I'm sure eventually more successors will be created. I'd like to know more about the III project though. Even though majority of them have been KIA on Reach I'd still love to hear news from them.

The II's are great, but they are the predecessor of the III's. The III's are the successor, and don't argue because for one, the III's had the biggest flaw that caused them to die, which was they weren't supplied with the MJOLNIR suits much like the II's were. Biomedical technology progressed at higher levels in late 2530s, allowing them to inject augmentations to the SPARTAN-IIIs in wider range of genetic map with 100% effective and no fatalities. And, SPARTAN-III and II's augmentations are SAME. It was just a different method. Only difference was the II's had the thyroid implant, and the III's did not. Thyroid implant made the Spartan taller.

III's are a big time successor and I see no reason to have a IV Project if they aren't going to technically continue the II and III's. If they want a different type of Spartans they can do a side group like the Head Hunters. Which I love. The III's excel the II's in most ways, the reason it doesn't look so is because they didn't have the MJOLNIR armor which increases their reactions, strength, speed etc by 2x or 3x.

My point being is, if there is a IV program, cool, but I don't think that's necessary because I still think the III's and II's are perfectly fine for now.
