Thinking that Halo 3 had the same competition as Reach XD

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

~Long Live Halo 2
Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

We went over this before and you wound up leaving. Lol thinking Reach has more competition, you're funny bro.

The only time Halo 3 ever went under second was the week after CoD 5/MW2 were released. lolreach is in 7th last I cared to check, and a Fifa game is beating it, as well as a 2 year old CoD game Halo 3 was near able to beat out a few times. Gears 2 came out a year after Halo 3, and Mass Effect came out in 2007 as well. ME2 was out in early '10. I can go into other titles if you like.

Please don't hype for games...
They'll just fall short of your expectations and you'll complain for months.

The reason why reach's population is so low is that the new generation of gamers hate halo. That's all there is to it. Halo 3 came out in 2007, 4 years ago. Kids that are 12 now and obsessed with CoD were 8 then, an age where it would be unacceptable to most parents for a kid to play. These kids just hate Halo. They don't care about this "skill" you speak of (and as a matter of fact, probably less skill is better), only about how fun a game is. Halo simply isn't fun to play for the younger generation and they all hate it.

Think about what almost every Bungie employee on the forums has said at least once. These forums are the vocal minority. The truth is that, the majority of gamers don't care about skill and consistency. The "hardcore" population of halo probably accounts for a couple hundred, maybe a thousand people. What regular gamers care about are explosions, realism, and graphics.

Sadly.
A game can be all shiny and big booms as much as it wants, if it plays like -blam!-, it's -blam!-.

Polish a turd as much as you want, it's still a turd.

Because true Halo fans want Halo 2 back....not some 10th anniversary remake (although it was fun to play) but for MM I WANT HALO 2 BACK!!!!

Your presence here is quite unneeded. Begone you!!!

Agarest War took my eye off of Reach for almost 6 months. Anticipation for CEA brought me back and now playing that....a lot

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

Because it's requires dedication. CoD doesn't. And people just want a pick up and play game.

O hai

you're totally right. it's not an excuse, it's a reason LOL.

ppl can't play reach if their playing something else.

I haven't touched reach since battlefield 3 came out, but i've played SR3 and the new zelda since then.

Game competition is not a legitimate reason for the games MM being so low. This is the number one excuse I see used to explain why MM has such low numbers. Like, you can't be serious. If you use that reason, which is really just an excuse, for Reach; stop it.
I like Halo: Reach. Halo: Reach is a good game.

I haven't put it in but once in months. Because I've been playing newer games that just came out.

Wow you look pretty silly now, don't you?

Pwnt.

  • gamertag: [none]
  • user homepage:

My real gamertag is a secret.
Inheritor is for people who play the game unlike freaking AFKers who cheat to earn their credits.
I boost Grifball but i'm still playing the game unlike the other blam-holes that resort to getting one kill in Firefight then going idle and ruining other peoples gameplay experience

Halo is obviously not cool anymore. I still like Halo but most of the kids today have either put down Reach for Call Of Duty because remember the majority of XBL games are kids who move on to the next BIG title like COD when a new one comes out or people got bored of Reach and are now playing something else. It happens to all games. The online is not going to be big with lots of people forever.

no, my gamertag doesnt mean i am in MLG. It states that I am an MLG terminator.. terminating MLG .. get it ?

You guys dont have to Argue. This game really didn't give people much reason to play it. No proper ranking system is probably why I only played such few games in it. Just look at my service record.
