I like Reach, it's fun, requires teamwork, and isn't a bad game. It has it's flaws, but when you play with a team it is really fun.
As stated before by many, it's a good game in general, but a bad Halo game.
It has it's moments. I think the reason people hate it is because Bungie may have gone for a more team-orientated system, while in other Halos it isn't as team orientated. Like how if a Banshee is to be successful then the soldiers on the ground have to take out Rocket hogs, rocket launchers, snipers, lasers, while in H3 a Banshee didn't need that much help from ground soldiers.
I think it's because Bungie decided to make their last Halo game a testbed for trying new things out. That was a mistake. You don't just turn 10 years of tried and true gameplay upside down and say, "nope.avi, you're playing like this now!"
