Back in 2005, I was 9 years old. Being a 'Pokemon' player (yes, I do admit, I loved Pokemon at the time), as well as many other Nintendo games, I was unfamiliar with the FPS genre. My friend/neighbour across the street introduced me to shooters, as well as an assortment of other types of games. I thought I was having fun, until he showed me Halo CE.
I got into Halo fast. Beating Halo CE's campaign countless times, my friend took it to the next step, and he showed my Halo 2. My mind was blown. I would go to his house almost every day to play Halo 2.
For about 3 years, Halo 2 was our main game, and although we switched to other games every once in a while, we always went back to Halo. After beating Halo 2's Campaign a multitude of times (up to the point where we new everything about every Campaign level), and playing countless 1v1 matches on the game's Multiplayer maps, we began to exploit glitches and do tricks to improve our gaming quality.
Then came Halo 3. Initally, we could not play it. But in 2008, when my friend got an Xbox 360, we were all over Halo 3. Sadly, we played Halo less and less, up until the point where we did not play it at all.
2009, I get an Xbox 360, and right when ODST was released, I bought it. Halo was my game again. And now, late 2011, I just CANNOT wait for Halo 4!
GO HALO!
