I got into H CE when I was 31. I heard about how cool it was, rented it and couldn't stand it. Returned it and kept hearing how revolutionary it was and rented it again.

Thank God I did. It changed my life for the better.

Halo without Bungie is like a cookie made without love.

I was 12 and it was Halo CE, Brother kept skipping the cutscenes that I was trying to understand so I bought it.

just looking to have fun, message me if you want to play

I don't remember how old I was but I remember going over to a friends house to hang out and they were playing halo. I didn't know of halo at the time but I really enjoyed the 2v2 and 4 person ffa we played that night. I later got an xbox halo 1 and halo 2 and started doing halo nights with my friends almost weekly. I got psyched when halo 3 was supposed to come out, so i bought a 360 just for it.

My older brother bought the Xbox on launch and I went over to his apartment to play it. I enjoyed it so I asked for my own Xbox and copy of the game for Christmas that year. I was 14.

I played my mother's boyfriend's copy of CE when I was 12ish. I hated that freaking game. It was too open and I couldn't find my way around anywhere. I just kept getting lost and the constant turning and no direction gave me massive headaches.

A couple years later I played Halo 2 and the linearity and co-op campaign drew me in. I played it over and over offline until I got Live in 2007.

Planking : Parkour for people who don't move very fast.

I was 20, in the military, and on a 6 month underway period. The lead Petty Officer in the shop brought his Xbox and Halo along. We knocked a hole in the bulkhead above to run enough ethernet for a LAN to the shop on the level above us. Good time.

Side note : A copy of original CE popped up at the 24 hour convenience store around the corner, might get it.

"We live in a special time; the only time where we can observationally verify that we live in a very special time" - Lawrence Krauss.

I was a finalist :P

First title was CE in 2001, when I was 10. Got it with the X-box.

i was 10. i got an original xbox and got halo 2. all my freinds were into halo and i loved it. but then Cod came along and i didnt like it. but my freinds did and then i said halo is better (halo is obviously better) and i was really annoyed with them. then i was left wondering wtf was so good about call of duty then i got a 360 and got reach. i thought the campaign was terrible compared to the halo 2 one but i liked the muliplayer. what CoD fans seem to forget is that halo ce came out way before modern warfare and had better graphics. 343 better do a damn good job on halo 4

  • 12.04.2011 7:48 AM PDT

i saw it when i was like 5 but started playing a little later than that with my older cousins.

  • 12.04.2011 9:29 AM PDT

everybody says cod is better than halo. so take cod 1 and halo 1 and when 360 came out halo was number 1 game on original xbox and cod doesnt matter because battle front was number 2. cod was nothing until 360.

Fair play

I bought Reach when it came out ( my first Halo game ) - age 16, after hearing that Halo games should supposedly take a lot of skill.

After playing it for like 4 months, they took down FFA Arena ( which in my opinion was the only playlist in Reach that took skill ).

So then I moved to Halo 3's Lone wolfs and occasional Reach's rumble pit.
