Hi there. If you are anything like me (A Halo Vet and fan) you probably have 1000/1000 Gs in CEA. Personally, I like most of them, but I think they could have done a few things better.

I would have liked to see a Solo Legendary achievement, like there was in Reach. I would have also modified the "Tsanta" achievement to be voided by Bandanna. And last but not least, I would have decreased the "Level completed on Normal or higher" achievements gamer-score, and make more level specific achievements, because those were the most fun :)

I would have also removed the Co-Op achievements, or made them worth significantly less.

What would you guys do?

Also, some ideas for more level specific ones would be nice, and make them do-able =P (Cuz I'll probably end up trying them)

Tsanta or whatever it was called is worth way to much. All I had to do is equip, grunt birthday, pinata and bandanna and run through silent cartographer.

However with additional achievements I would have added something along the lines of destroying all of the Hunters in the entire campaign on Heroic.

Yeah it was worth way to much. And that achievement could be done with one pistol magazine :D lol

Yeah I understand that, but maybe throw in Black Eye or something?

How about an acheivement worth maybe 30-50 gamerscore points that you get by scanning all objects and people with the kinect?

Otherwise there is actually no point of using the Kinect voice recognition commands due to the reward only being a 3D model and some information on the thing you scanned.

i think easy achievements make up the really hard ones.

That wouldn't be fair for those that do not have kinect.

how ya like me now - 30GP: once you enter the chamber with all those sleeping grunts and 2 elites on parole, throw a grenade and make your way to the door leading to the elevator (can only be done on legendary, boom and grunt funeral must be activated, once you enter the room you have to keep progressing: if you stand still or move back the count resets to zero so you have to die/revert to last save)

T&R on Legendary without using the sniper rifle at all. The first time I did it I bragged to my brother. He asked me how I killed my first enemy. I said, I snuck up on a sleeping grunt, whacked him over the head with the sniper and then swapped for his Plasma Pistol. "You used the sniper rifle didn't you?" I had to go back, again, and whack the grunt with the AR, switch to sniper, swap for Plasma and do the entire level over again.
Pretty fun.

How did you pull off the landing pad battles (Right before the hunters drop) and the "Drop Room"? (Right after you get into the ship)

And your brother is mean =P lol

I like the idea of "How Pedestrian" only swap the current level it uses out with Assault on the Control Room. And maybe kick the difficulty up to Heroic/Legendary. I'm not sure about a point total though, what would you guys think it would be worth?

The Landing pad is pretty easy if you just retreat to that natural choke point(the cleft in the rocks)that serves as entrance to the bowl shaped area. I venture out enough to scrounge stickies and needler ammo and then retreat to cover again. The only worry is grunts tossing stickies and mortally wounded elites charging you.
The plasma pistol bolt flies straight as an arrow w/ a hint of long range drop. Use that to take out the shade gunners. The Hunters are pretty easy. I circle(counterclockwise)around the lip of the bowl and pour the needles into the first hunter until he blows up. I then usually mano y mano the last one with the AR.
Belly of the Beast I rely on the needler for gold elites and the AR for everything else. Watch your tracker and make certain you greet every door opening with a sticky(elites) or frag(grunts and jackals). The whole exercise taught me that you don't have to rely on power weapons.
Try AotCR w/o dragging the sniper or rocket launcher along.

I like that idea as well. As for Gs, i'd say 10 if you can do it on normal, on heroic/legendary I would say its worth 25

Nice. That is something I love about CE, all the weapons are useful and powerful. For the belly of the beast I would probably hide in the locked doors after getting in while enemies are coming out. I might try that. If it was an achievement what would you call it and how much would it be worth?

Same with this, I might try it. If it was an achievement what would you call it and how much would it be worth?
