Because of this troll

Yet this kind of thing happens too often; someone decides to troll or post inflammatory, libelous or racist posts and they go unchecked for hours or days.

So when are the Ninjas supposed to be on here?

Several are online. In fact, they are unnaturally active today. Here:

PM Recon Number 54
PM True Underdog
PM TOM T
PM Old Papa Rich

*super useful*

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

If someone wants me to be in a certain place at a certain time doing a certain thing, they had better be willing and able to offer something in exchange for my time, effort and presence.

Otherwise? It's my time.

Told you Recon was active.

Would my soul suffice, sir?

You may be special but that doesn't mean you're useful

I remember asking Duardo a while back about the shifts in which the Ninja's operate.

He just said that they all moderate the different forums at their own discretion and use their authority when necessary.

They don't do it as a job, they scroll through the forums like any other standard member. They just have the ability to lock, ban, delete threads whenever they want to.

Wait, I'm confused. Does this mean to suggest that Foman's mom is not promiscuous, or rather that she is so promiscuous that it is no longer a perk?

They have lives outside of Bungie.net, and we can also ignore trolls and spammers.

@spaboolly

I don't think they even have to moderate if they don't want to. It's my understanding that they do it simply out of an altruistic dedication to making Bnet a much more pleasant (and less offensive) experience than most of the internet.

It is annoying when people post things just for the sake of inflaming others, but you just have to ignore it (or report it if it's blatantly inappropriate). The ninjas do a good job, but they have lives, too. They can't always address an offense right away.
