The concept of the idea is generally nice, but it still has some perks. One, Your a blurry spot. Two, You can move very slowly by the time you get all the way across he would have seen your blurry spot by moving so slow.
Sorry, let me clarify. I would basically use this to move from "cover to cover" or out of the sniper's line of sight (LOS). The whole point is to avoid the sniper's LOS at all costs because I'm at a serious disadvantage with a pistol/DMR/NR/whatever. Once I'm out of his LOS, I don't bother to flank him or try to take him out but rather take out his other teammates while maneuvering to avoid his LOS. It sounds overly complicated, but basically I determine where he is, use camo to move from cover to cover until I'm out of his sight and can comfortably move/shoot his other teammates who rush. The distance this would be at would make it indistinguishable to the normal player, but I'm sure a pro or super-good-player would be able to spot the blurriness if they looked hard, though snipers normally scan quickly for easy kills.
So the strategy is not really for flanking or anything with the goal of taking the sniper out. It's more a halo(story)-flood type approach where I get out of his LOS and deny him kills and continue on with the game. Usually the snipers are well set up or have teammates that spawn around them anyways.
