Baton courtesy; service with a smile

I just wanted to do this to let everyone know that i really hate players on a team who do not play as a team. Isn't that what team means? to actually have someones back in combat. I play reach all the time but lately it's been irritating me that people dont play as a team and you have to watch your own back because you can't rely on your team mates.
Also why does bungie make you fight ranks that are so much higher than your own in a match making game, it's unfair they should set you against others who are your rank not 7 grades higher than you are it ridiculous.

Complaining on here about crap teammates isn't going to solve anything... That being said, I semi-agree with your rant.

Personally I feel CoD has stirred up a lot of this Lone Wolf action going on in matchmaking, because that's what that game is about. There are plenty of times I've stumbled across some great teams, but it always seems its a whole group, against a bunch of single players with no mics and a gung-ho attitude; and although its frustrating, there are plenty of players out there in matchmaking that strive for teamwork and competing together.

Another thing I've observed is a lot of players rushing the map, trying to gain absolute control of the map too quickly, in turn giving up the lead and crucial map position. Rushing the other team creates holes in strategy and the 'team' becomes separated. Stay back my friends

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

I think this is what you're looking for...

Anyway, I agree, but you're preaching to the choir on this one.

People tend to believe their tactics are superior to everybody elses on the team, no matter how poorly they're playing, and when they're playing poorly, they tend to blame everybody else for not helping them.

Your best bet is to;
A) Play with a team of people you know will cooperate with you.

B) Assume before dropping into matchmaking that nobody is going to help you once or ever, but try to help them when they need it.

C) Ignore everybody else on the team.

I find that B tends to work the best.
