Regardless of what just happened and not respecting ajw's wishes, I guess that's true. I think I was just thinking in terms of Mass Effect.

Still, that whole issue about the SW hasn't been resolved...

Star Wars is a mess of canon; so many fan fictions published as official novels. Just look at how Clone Wars contradicts Hard Contact and the other Republic Commando books.

Please wolver, enough threads have been torn apart when you and Grey both enter into a thread. Just stay on topic.

I know you know what I'm talking about.

In case you don't, he means this.

On topic i like the OP's theories. The bit that anton said about the keyship is a cool theory too.

Five exclamations marks are a good signifier of an insane mind. As is trying to hide from Death in an airtight room. Silly wizard.

And now for something completely different (and on topic no less!). The Assembly acted as our shepards for over 200 years. In that time they possibly had access to several forerunner objects and/or databases. The mentioned removing Onyx from the list of colony worlds due to Forerunner stuff there. Whatever was there obviously worried them.

My idea in short is that the Assembly gained access to some form of Forerunners database and discovered a massive amount of information. They possibly discovered fractions of the Forerunner's plan for us and decided to help further that plan.

Perhaps an AI from the Assembly managed to tap into some form of database on Onyx and that was what spurred them into removing it from the list of habitable planets. I myself see no reason why a few scientists poking around inert ruins would harm humanity in a great way but if those ruins contained technology the Assembly didn't want humanity to have then they had a reason to remove it.

Not that, I'm referring to the issues of the HWSW.
