Subject: What is the Bungie Community without Halo?

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I'm failing to see a point in this thread really. Obviously the people that have stuck around are waiting until Bungie announces their next IP.

This, and just because the pace of the "reach" forum died doesn't mean the community died. this place is still pretty active despite there being nothing to discuss. The bungie community will survie, just as it did before Halo.

Yeah, the Bungie community forum should be the same as it ever way becuase this forum is not connected to the game forums except in discussing forum errors and forum feedback.

Tough as it is for many to accept b.net is no longer a Halo website, that means no more Halo related activity, there isn't much really to keep people around, no new information about the latest project, no more halo content, little new activity. If you're primarily a Halo fan and you're not a sadcunt like me who's embedded into this website like the crew of the flying dutchmen why should you stick around? Having said that making a thread saying "oh hey guys I'm leaving" is a little pathetic. No-one cares.

We've entered the big wait.

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

You should fix up some punctuation, your post was very hard to read at times. For example: "woman, without her man, is nothing" and "woman: without her, man is nothing" are two very different sentences because of a simple change in punctuation, and it is especially hard to read "woman without her man is nothing" (an example with no punctuation).

You believe what's going on in Bungie.net is irrelevant or petty? It's not about halo or my title, for me, this much should be obvious (if you read 2-3 of my posts). Bungie.net is about discussion, helping others out, the community! We're a community forged by a shared interest in video games, respect for Bungie and above all respect for each-other.

If you don't care about Bungie, the people here or the discussion that's taking place, why'd you come back?

[Announcement Trailer] Halo: Forerunner

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

This is the best simile I've seen in a long time (followed by the saddest realization I've had in a long time).
