Subject: New prepaid mobile wifi now; Halo: Reach server is unavailable.

Hey,
I've got this new Telstra elite prepaid mobile wifi and now for some reason when I go to matchmaking it says that the halo: reach server is unavailable at this time, please try again later. I don't know what the problem is, my NAT is open according to the network status page in the menu of the game and I've tried resetting my Xbox and my mobile wifi multiple times with no success. The mobile wifi works fine for other multiplayer games like battlefield 3 and I previously had an Optus mobile wifi which I used to use and it would work for all games including halo reach. I'm guessing it has something to do with some new and different in built settings within this new mobile wifi but I have no idea what to look for. I've checked the settings and as far as I can tell the firewall within the mobile wifi is disabled. Can anyone help me?

I stopped right there. If it's not a solid landline internet connection, you're going to have issues. Sorry to rain on your parade, but that's the truth.

Try dashboarding and then reloading it. Other than that, I really dont know what to tell you.

Your not raining on any parade, its completely untrue that you have issues if you don't have a solid landline. As I said I previously had a mobile
Wifi which was perfect for halo and all other online games. This current one also works perfectly fine for all online games besides halo thus far. The only problem is it won't connect to halo servers because there is obviously some sort of setting the servers dislike. Thanks anyway for at least making a relevant comment.

Well, I was going to help you further but since you put it that way.

Troll ate my care cup. XBOX support may have one you can shake around.

Settle down. I don't know how you managed to misread my last comment as "trolling" you because all I was saying is that it is untrue which it is. I even thanked you, although I probably should have said "trying" instead of "being relevant" because it does appear kind of angry/sarcastic

Games like BF3 run on servers not the peer to peer that Halo runs on. That is why people are saying you will struggle with mobile wifi.

I don't have solid landline at all, I use WiMax network and it works amazingly good.

What kind of network you use OP?
