"Except we, we're the zebras. All fenced in...and ready for the slaughter!"

Hello all,

I've been apart of Bnet for awhile and through the "Forge Community" i've joined one private group, Blueprint. Blueprint is great for what it was made for but I would really like to join other private groups.

My biggest problem is that I don't know where to start. There are so many groups out there! How am I to know which groups are best suited for me? I suppose I could join 100 groups and test them all out, but that isn't exactly somthing I want to do. haha. Any sugestions?

May as well state your interests here. I'm sure people who're looking for group members will see this and likely send you an invitation if you're interested in what they have to offer.

-Looking for game design discussion and shenanigans.
-Great people to play a variety of games on a variety of mediums(PC/Xbox ect)

Stuff like that. : )

Intolerance is the highest level of stupidity and inbred thinking.

A good start would to be just go to the Classified forums and just read through all the threads posted there, reading the descriptions people post of their groups. Not the most perfect system, but it's better then nothing.

Then you could poke around and ask your friends about the groups they are a part of and if the recommend them. If you don't have friends, well, this option isn't so hot.

Finally, you could just post a lot, and eventually people will send you invites to groups. Then you can read their PMs and decide if the group is worth your time.

But there a really no perfect ways of finding a "perfect" group for yourself. *looks at webteam*

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

You people have just sent my sides into orbit. A bunch of MLG try hards sucking the dick of some supposed pro half the thread hasn't even heard of. Classic.

Protip: If it requires approval PM the admin of the group to make sure it is still active. You don't want to be stuck in a queue and not be able to join a group later.

Otherwise feel free to try out quite a few groups. You will find one you like somewhere.

I've actually run into this quite a few times. It's always unfortunante to never hear back from a group that looks interesting. I guess thats just the way it goes.

I really hope we can delete our queues ourselves when the next update comes, whenever the heck that is.
