CEA has 3D support
Don't think 3D has really caught on a whole lot.

none of my friends play reach anymore, they decided it was crap, i agree with them slightly on that but i started to make maps before i broke it

You could just get CEA and forge new stuff on the new maps. They're not quite as flexible as forge world, but the color palettes are so much better..

that was the plan but i still want to use/edit the maps i made in reach

Yeah, it would have been nice if they gave us access to forge world from CEA. As redundant as it might seem from some perspectives, it would be nice to be able to just use the CEA disc and have everything you want right there - customs and Anniv MM. That, and anything you queue for download on here will download in CEA if you load it before Reach, despite being unavailable there. I don't know if it makes the files accessible in Reach though. Haven't used my Reach disc since CEA launched.

I imagine after the ODST disc a lot of players were probably waiting to get their future map packs bundled instead of buying them individually. Including the DLC maps might have increased CEA's sales a bit, but greedy greedy MS would probably prefer everyone buy the DLC for full price. Judging by the frequency with which I used to see the DLC come up in MM, it doesn't look like it sold very well.

CEA has 3D support - just throwing that out there.
Useless gimmick.

Nope. You can invite people over you don't like and give them headaches.
