While playing grifball, I often feel the dead bodies littering the field diminish the strength of my hammer strikes. Has anyone else noticed this?

I usually notice it when there are a few dead bodies between me and my opponent. This could be just a perception error on my part.

Thanks for replying. Anybody else? Preferably someone who has played grifball more than a few hundred times.

Dead bodies don't do that.

I've never had a problem like this.

Yea, a friend of mine pointed it out once.
I never actually noticed it myself though.

@Boomdeyadahh: Your service record implies that you don't have very much experience in grifball. It says you have played 35 games. Your lack of experience makes you an unreliable source...

I've noticed this.
When I'm in a Hammer-Dual with an opponent and I hit a body I immediately realise I'm dead because the body absorbed the impact of the hammer.

Yeah, and it really pisses me off. My perfectly timed hammer strike tickles the enemy and they get a kill on me.

Likewise, the same has happened to my enemy before. Their hammer blast was outside of lunge range, but close enough that I should've been dead easy. I just generally try to stay away from dead corpses unless I have a sword and the enemy has a hammer.

There are many differences between H3 Grifball and Reach Grifball. But again, thanks for your opinion.

It happens a lot to me in Grifball, that's why I started using the bomb almost exclusively.
Hammer effects can get lost on all the corpses that accumulate during a match, possibly a sneaky way to deal with spawn campers?
