They said on NASA, that they discovered a new planet that actually looks to be the twin sister of Earth. And Bungie did say that it was supposed to be similar to Earth, but they also said that conspiracy was supposed to happen 'till the next 300 years. *Oh Well, looks like it came early :)

Planking : Parkour for people who don't move very fast.

Scientists have also managed to link two diamonds with quantum entanglement. Could slipspace travel, or something like it, be not that far off?

Even if it could be used like SlipSpace, we'd still be a loooooooooooooooooooooooong way off.

That would be like just discovering fire and then saying, "We'll be flying airplanes in no time."

It's been proven that tech improves over time exponentially. 20 years ago, magnetic cassette tapes and laser discs were the norm, now look where we are. Touch screen telephones, digital storage solutions that fit in your pocket that would have taken up whole BUILDINGS on a government site. Even commercial space travel (which is set, they just haven't flown yet) is happening within the next few years.

As for the person who asked where I heard it from ...

Name's John. I'm a 21-year-old firefighter/EMT from lolhio who doubles as a die-hard Halo fan. I've been enjoying the franchise since 2001. My favorite iteration of Halo would have to be Halo 2 simply because I never got to experience the joy of a full-on Halo: CE LAN.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Oh yeah, and boot Zome.

What's this "too big to support life" stuff? I don't know anything about astrology, but since when does size dictate life support capabilities?

All that is needed for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

NASA should name planets after sci-fi planets. Like reach, Harvest, etc.

  • 12.06.2011 4:53 PM PDT

To be honest, when I first saw all this in the weekly update I thought 2 things.
#1- there is an actual legendary ending but,
#2- No matter what anyone does,(kill all the bobs, hit all switches etc) that until the "time" mentioned in "There'll be another time..." is reached there won't be a legendary ending.

The weekly update by bungie has slowed my hardcore search for what unlocks the legendary ending.

The gravity would crush us all. If say we were on Jupiter, we would instantly be crushed to death.

Boltshot = mini shotgun

So..very...cOLD.*shivers*
Hopefully, if this planet is similar to Earth, then we won't be pushed to near extinction by a genocidal alien alliance, too.

Wouldn't organisms that evolved under this higher gravity have stronger bones or whatever so that they could resist it?
