I believe Noble-6 to be alive for quite a few reasons... Firstly, look on Halopedia. Noble Six is listed as (presumed) K.I.A. Keyword being 'presumed'. Also 343 helped make Halo: Reach--as they are also in charge of Halo: 4, 5 and 6... It would be an interesting twist to have Noble Six involved in the next trilogy. And remember the slogan for Halo: Reach? "You know the end." Don't you guys realize how much Bungie loves making fans feel a little ignorant by not noticing things? And 343 is the offspring of Bungie; I'm sure they'd like to prove us wrong. You never saw him/her die, which therefore eliminates the possible 'fact' that he/her is dead. It doesn't mean he/she is alive, it just supports that he/she is alive. Whenever a spartan is hit with a sword, their armor's shields flash and glow. Six's shields never flashed after a sword was stabbed or swung in his/her direction; so Six was never hit by a sword during the scene. When the Zealot pulls his sword on Six, Six punches it out of the Zealot's hand--and the Zealot resorts to a wrist-blade; which can easily be dodged. And for something I noticed... Thel Vadamee [the Arbiter of the original trilogy] is one of the only known Elites to be left handed. The Elite that the scene ends on pulls his sword out with their left hand, and the scene cuts. It perhphaps *could've* been Thel. So, if it was, what I wonder about is why Thel pulled his sword out in the first place. He sees the Zealot bring the sword down on Six... This means Thel is either about to try and kill Six himself, or possibly stop Six from being attacked... Anyways, we never see Six die--so I've at least made my argument valid. Another thing... Noble Six was said to have died in 2552; yet his helmet is still not glassed even by the year 2589, the scene shown during Halsey's speech. It's just odd. And notice the ship in the background? It wasn't there until during the transition between years 2552 and 2589; So... Hmm. Right? Regardless of that all; Six still had a lot of fight in them. A lot. Thanks for your time.
Here are a few sources you can go to for facts of the subject I'm debating.
