PROLOGUE
_____________________________________________________________ __
The shack door eeked open, as Hunter looked cautiously at the Arctic sky. His Geiger counter tick, tick, ticked. He knew he was in a radiation hotspot. Northern lights that had once streamed Greens and Blues across the sky now emitted crimons and Oranges. The next thing Hunter noticed was makeshift bridging across the black-frozen lake split between two massive ice shelves. He steadied his Rifle as he crossed, and wavered himself across. He crossed the buoy-padded metal walkways that stetched the irradiated and oil ridden frozen water that the vault-dwellers all but heard of. As Hunter crossed through, he reached and ending to the lake, and a drive-in, with rubble blocking the road he got his climbing equipment ready, and walked as the road before him etched like the wastelands.
CHAPTER 1: EXODUS (not done)
_____________________________________________________________ __
Hunter walks through the road, guided only by a red light flickering in the distance. He heard growls of the Super mutants, steadily readying his rifle, and set on his riot vision on his helmet to evaluate the opposition. "Nightkin, fantastic." Hunter whispered to himself. He reached for his combat knife just as he heard a massive roar behind him, an dthen jumped out of the way of the Nightkin's sledge hammer before stabbing it in the neck with the knife and opened fire on the Mutie, with each bullet exiting his rifle illuminating the distance. He knew the road out of Alaska would be the hardest in a wastelanders journey.
