You may be special but that doesn't mean you're useful

Being a member with some history (account creation in 2008) would sway your view here a little bit, wouldn't it?
Everyone was new at some point. Given that fact, does that mean that everybody is an idiot? To put it another way - if this was 2008, and you just created your account, how would you like it if everyone from 2004 dismissed you as a moron simply because you were new? Even if you happened to be an actual moron, it would be unfair, since you wouldn't have said anything to show that you were yet. And if you weren't an actual moron, it would be even more unfair!
Let people be judged by their contributions: past, present, and future. Title or join date do not interest me other than to provide a means of personalization and added value to an account.

Being an employee of Bungie would somewhat sway your view on things though would it not?
The funny thing is, I was treated like a moron in 2008.
Mainly because the things that I posted were moronic, and upon reflection I don't know why I said them (kind of like my thoughts on why I even bothered creating this thread).
I've clearly touched on a subject that a lot of different people have a lot of different views on.
I guess at least one thing that I can take from this thread is that generalisations are really not an educated way to go about voicing an opinion.

I think your point would be a good way to end the discussion which has been... educational.
