eventually ill be back on Reach and CEA. i enjoy gaming for fun, im a great player and i enjoy smoking while i play. so any chill players feel free to add me. I in NO way support halocharts; old username.

such as in the books. how killer would it be to have played that mission where sam dies, then playing some other missions on reach with fred as the main character? keeping it linear to the books.

We were all a little dissapointed that Reach didn't follow the origins of Blue team. But I for one really enjoyed the campaign and have replayed certain levels of this halo game more than any other apart from CE.

the space mission where john fights a elite in zero G, and where Sam dies. Also, some ground missions SEPERATE from that on reach whehn blue team got split up.

reach was great but it was 6 characters we had never known about so losing them wasnt THAT big of a deal.

No. Noble 6 is awesome, killed 6 or 7 zealots on her own, as well as a bunch of other guys.

Not myself. How could I be if I haven't read the book?

OP is not a native speaker, that is for sure. You do realize that 90% of the people who frequent these forums have not read the books, me included.

I would have prefered it if it followed the novels, but from a marine perspective. You feel like Reach is being overrun, and you're a normal human being, not super soldier. You get more emotion in, which is what Bungie wanted, and that doesn't sit too well with Spartans. I'm sure they could make the campaign actually harder as a result too. And you get all that without having to breach cannon.

I wish.

while it wont satisfy u Bungie had alot more planned for the campaign but scrapped it due to time restraints. They chose to do it on Noble Team the way they did and i thoroughly enjoy the campign. I don't understand y people have to make a new post every week about it

I <3 Halo:Reach - amazingly fun and best campaign + amazing Soundtrack
I <3 Halo 3:ODST - best soundtrack + Firefight + Coastal Highway and Mombassa Streets, amazingly unique campaign.
I <3 Halo 3 - best multiplayer levels + Forge + best Custom Games + soundtrack
I <3 Halo 2 - amazing huge fun campaign + soundtrack + Fun multiplayer
I <3 Halo: CE - started it all

Just because its a good read on paper doesn't mean its good in a playable game.

And somethings are not yet possible to create in a video games yet.

people who had read the books would have know what was gonna happen, plus some of that stuff wouldn't have translated well into gameplay.

plus all the people who hadn't read the books would have been mostly in the dark, it's ridiculously hard to make a game from a book coherent to the non readers because it's so hard to objectively look at the game when you go into it knowing everything about the plot, it's already difficult to do that when you come up with the stuff yourself.
