Subject: How long do you need to be a member to not be a noobie?

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

You'll always be in my shadow by one month.

We miss you Logan.
Ask any question. I'll help with anything on site or off.

I'd have to say a year, but it's what you do in that year.

Citizens of Me! The cruelty of the old Pharaoh is a thing of the past. Let a whole new wave of cruelty wash over this lazy land.

Hear the word of Pharaoh. Build unto me a statue of ridiculous proportion. One billion cubits in height......that I might be remembered for all eternity!

And be quick about it!

Jeez. All the high ranking members have such high standards.

Elitists much?

Everyone else is a nub. Lul.

It's more about posting and being a part of the community rather than 'how long you've been a member.'

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

There is no set date. You are always a newbie to those who came before and in turn you can hold that position as well.

Indeed. I was gone for a couple of years, and have just returned. It took me 30 minutes to figure out what 'coup' was, and another 30 to figure out how it worked.

When he was younger, he was the one who always had the jokes and riddles that would keep the spirits of the Spartans high. Over the years however, his lifetime of combat had hardened him, as it had all of the Spartans. Within Will, John thought, something special had been lost.

1. You have to know what coup is.

2. You have to at least called out 1 person into a 1 vs 1 in the Halo 2/3/Reach forums.

3. You have to know what a BK is.

4. You have to at least have found the Septagon forum button.

5. You have to remember Shishka, and all of the lols that we had when he posted.

6. Porch Day, i am dumd and guyto ban people have to mean something more than random words to you.

7. You must have referenced beards / wet noodles / foman's mum in at least one thread since joining.

These are the 7 pro-tips used to unlock the higher eschalons of Bnet greatness.

Still better than you.

.....most of you, at least.

I always think of being a noob as a state of mind. Kinda like the difference between being and old-blam!- and a new-blam!- on /b/. If you have to ask, then your a noob. If you just know that you aren't, then you aren't.
