13.72 billion years in the making.

On December 1st, 2012, I met Neil deGrasse Tyson. I shook the man's hand, and even made him laugh. Not much else to do with my life now.

I thought that there were a few cases when a user managed to figure out the coding for the insertion of a poll into a thread, or was that just a mixup too?

If I am not posting, then I am reading what you might have posted.

You can make posts but not threads.

And I disagree.

why is this in the community forum? thats not where the obvious problem is. this applies to the flood more than any other forum.

furthermore how did that happen within a minute of creating it when troll threads go for an hour unnoticed?

How does this go in the Flood?

Threads about the site itself go here.
Ye be in strange tides now, lad...

30 replies in 10 mins = not a ghost town. But you were lucky your thread was moved and not locked, because it doesn't go in the Flood. (See the Forum Descriptions)

How does this go in the Flood?

because its about the flood since every thread on the flood has links to meatspin and the community forum is a ghost town.

Meh, the forum there is more active, but normally the thread would've been locked. Some Mod was nice enough to move it for you, instead. :D

by comparison it is - and most of those replies were people who clicked the thread in the flood.

I agree with you on that. There is no need to have a waiting period before you can post.

Thread hijacked?

Anyway, to answer the real OP's question... No. If you couldn't post at all, why would you come back?

  • 12.07.2011 7:09 PM PDT

Listen man, I didn't move your thread. Don't yell at me.
Posted by: nosnhoj420
theres other threads in the flood right now that belong in the community forum far more than mine. why did mine get moved in less than a minute?

youre forcing my hand. wanna be a stickler about the rules? now im going to ruin everybodys fun.

  • 12.07.2011 7:10 PM PDT

Unfortunately that really wouldn't deter our most dedicated disruptors from doing what they do best. They just need to queue up a bunch of accounts and wait.

this thread was about the flood

this thread was about the rampant posting of shock links on the flood.

Yeah, so it goes here.

I got banned for 2 weeks for posting a thread in the Flood that should have been here. Seriously, you got off nice and easy.

if you were on the flood instead of the community forum you would know that there is a need. every thread has a meatspin link posted by somebody who has been a member for less than a day.

I check the flood often. I know I would not come back to forum that would not let me post the day I joined. That would just be pushing ppl away. So there is no need for it.

There was one. Recon locked it. Don't worry about other peoples' threads, man; who cares if this one is in here? Does it matter whose opinions you receive?

To be frank, I'd rather have the opinions of these guys than Floodians.
