Subject: How do you feel about the site and how much it has grown?

We miss you Logan.
Ask any question. I'll help with anything on site or off.

Only thing I notice for sure is less spam activity, but I expect much more spam when Bungie announce there new game that will be coming.

That's only because me and my brother formally shared a acc and people seemed to not like him. Even though he was annoying I thank him because if he wouldn't have made this acc I wouldn't have came back in'till I heard about aerospace.
What a twist.

Yea my brother is machinimagamesMG. Back on topic i've seen members grow from when I first joined here. I see members going from newbie post in '07 to very intelligent post in '11.

The site has really grown on me. It's grown to be part of my daily ritual, just visiting the forums and looking around. The site has a whole has really changed, with older members leaving and newer ones coming. It's all pretty cool to think about all that has really changed while I have been here.

Activity should restore when bungie returns, i'm looking forward to some 2012 members.

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

In my opinion, the community has gotten better ever since Bungie announced their seperation from Microsoft and future Halo games. I can't really explain it, but the community seems to have gotten better in some way.
NoU!

To me, the only thing that's changed is the population and activity. Everybody here that I mainly know was already here in '08, and they act the same way, so it's basically the same experience.

We do need more activities though, the Superintendent was cool, and we need more unique moments on this site.

Agreed to the unique moments. We should have more of those. That would make this site more interesting.

I miss Shishka. Also, I loved the Halo 2-3 days here.

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

Threatened.

It's obvious that they only came here to take my job.

No I agree with OMARRCHR. I feel that now that bungie isn't going to be stuck on Halo the community is electrified with anticipation of the new IP. That energy is transfered to higher need to become active here. Hence the continued chatter here on the forums of a studio that has been "dark" for quiter some time.

ooga booga boooh

I greatly miss the Halo 3 days. I miss the forum feuds at times. I miss how awesome people were to help each other out. Now it seems to be reduced to sack riding and bad, terrible trolling.

Private groups are the best communities nowadays. Not so much the mains.

I am person who plays by rules, and am willing to help others out, if I know anything of the subject.

I am a Floodian

I sometimes find it hard to be convinced that the community has grown in size. I would agree that there is member turnover, but I'm not sure that's the same thing.

As for quality of content. I don't think it's gotten better or worse, just stale.

In size? Numbers?

I am a better part of the community, because I try to be active, help, make a notice, and just be here. :D

I quite like how there aren't as many locked threads places. Makes the place seem like it actually has a community to it.

I still think Bungie.net around Halo 2 had the best community. But I can't wait to see the community in two years.

Thank you, some one agreed with me. I also thing that, but Halo 3 wasn't so bad.

Mythical Group

There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

imo it's a little silly how each forum has their own subculture but it's a nice place. Hopefully the game forums will be better what with a new series instead of Halo, which people who always hated it would continue to hate, or the others who didn't believe one game met their expectations based on the previous.

If this is the state of my art, then I secede.

The only thing that I can honestly say that I have any sort of feeling for this site and the community is...

I hate Hal.
