Subject: How do I make forge maps compatible with game variants?

They see me rollin', they hatin'.

Whenever I make a forge map I always make sure I put everything in it. Initial spawns(Of every color), respawns(of every color), hill markers, flag stands, capture plates, structures(duh), weapons, and the like. Heck, I even threw in a respawn zone. So why, after hours of my life dedicated to making this map, will it say to me in custom games, ''This map variant is not compatible with this game variant.''

What have I overlooked?

The Renaissance Man; The Bigger Fool.

You have to forge in the gametype and set the hill markers or flag stands, etc to what you want.

You need to enter forge in the game mode you want and change the label. Eg, for oddball, change the basic editing gamnetype to oddball, and enter the game. Then place a capture plate (reccomended for an oddball) then press X over it. Go to "label' and change this to "OB_ball". Now an oddball will spawn there.

Do that for any other gametype, too. The labels are generally pretty easy to understand, except maybe for CTF.
