Disclaimer: I couldn't find anything on Google or Wikipedia so I come to you.

By the "original" Myth Game I'm refering to Myth: History in the making, a game relased back in 1989 (Bungie's first Myth game was relased in 1997).

If you clicked the linked you may already know what I'm getting at here: The striking resemblance between the Myth: History in the making cover art and that of Bungie's Myth II Soulblighter.

So what's the deal, coincidence or are the two games connected somehow?

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Holy -blam-, interesting.

I doubt it, but Bungie could of made a parody of that cover.

Bungie's Myth series has a VERY extensive and unique story.

Do you like Yax? I do.

That's really interesting. How did you find that?

I blame SK15. I was poking around on a Swedish auction site, in an unrelated errand, when I remembered that Ken had been "robbed" on a Myth Soundtrack on a similar site. So I decided to search for Myth and History in the making was the first thing to come up.
