I have found that in blood gulch that if you are the blue team get to the enterance of the red teams cave. If you sit just outside the door on the cliff side I was able to pick off about 20 troops in one sitting!! Amazing! Just as they come out of the port hole. I'm not talking about the enterance on the red side by the big rock I am talking about the other by the red team port hole.

Well think of it this way. When a sniper rifle in say Blood Gulch is used most people will always snipe the enemy while they are at there base while the sniper is on the other side of the map. What is the difference of doing the same thing but at a closer range that makes it camping? I did not see him say anything about kill those who had just spawned. It is also the fault of the morons that keep coming out that way of there base when they know there is a sniper with his scope set on that exit just waiting for you to come out.

FYI, camping is not cheating of any sort, ok, SPAWN camping is lame, but portal/vehicle camping is not. in a real war you want your team to have the advantage, am i right? so you camp at a certain point where enemies likes to travel, and fire at them. go play CS games and you'll see what i mean. you have to "camp" at the bomb sites, you have to "camp" at the double doors, etc. etc...

camping is not lame, sure it gives your team advantages, but thats the meaning of real life battles. and also, it would teach your opponent to actually use their heads and each other to overwelm the campers.

you obviousy have no clue about the difference and similarities of FPS games and actual battles dont you?

Have you been in an actual battle? I think not. I study history in my spare time. My Area of Interest is the Second World War. The only thing that is similar between FPS and actual conflicts is that there are two sides, and there are guns.

And just because he didn't specifically say he sat there and killed people as they spawned doesn't mean he didn't.

Also, in real battles, depending on your religion, respawn points are few and far between, if any.

In any case, staying still in ANY position for any sniper after a couple of shots is asking for a bullet to the head. In both RL and Halo.

It should also be pointed out that snipers in Real Life, as opposed to Halo, don't just shoot any random soldier on the battlefield. They target officers and other snipers mostly. In WW2 Russia's most decorated sniper was a woman. She killed over 300 german snipers if I remember correctly. I may have the number confused with another sniper, so don't take my word for it.

haha this is probably the funniest response I've ever seen on any forum. I mean we all know that world war 2 used the teleporters more than any war. Also I hear that plasma rifles, and fuel rod cannons were very important to the german troops.

Hahaha yes i've seen that tactick many times from the Blue team... The rest of my team are oblivious as to who's shooting at them so i start shooting the guy with pistol and cos of the pistol's range most of them miss and he just hides again and comes out when he thinks nobody is there lol..

So i just make my way or teleport to the centre and get the launcher and launch a rocket just in the right spot and it's "STFU U CAMPER!!" and then he's been exposed..

I really hate people constantly use the same camping spot even after being killed they never learn so i'm always watchful of these little spots lol.
