What is the approximate ratio of Regular Members to Heroic Members to Legendary Members to Mythic Member on the forums?

Second question is, is there only a set number of each type of higher leveled members allowed to exist, for example 20 Heroics, 5 Legendaries, and 2 Mythics, or is the system based entirely on a trust rating that applies to each and every member individually, so the number of each member type can be anything?

I remember vaguely, back from right after the implementation of the title system, that these numbers were capped (although I may be wrong). I'm simply curious now :)

If I am not posting, then I am reading what you might have posted.

I don't know.

Yes, but there are more than two mythics.

If I remember, it isn't a hard cap, it is a ratio based on the total number of users on the website, it is capped, but the cap increases over time.

If someone gains mythic, someone else has to lose it, until there is more room for people.

I guess that would work. That is rather interesting actually. I would of assumed that a system that was based on individual trust would be more beneficial to the users, although i guess it would take away from the exclusiveness of the title.

Yax is a shining beacon in these dark times. You should all strive to be more like Yax.

This will probably help you for your first question. Although, keep in mind that it only tracks a portion of the community, not all of it.

“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”

The Black Chapter!

As I recall, trust ratings are normally distributed. Then, at some point on the bell curve there will be a notional vertical line that says "these guys are heroic", "these guys are mythic", and so on. As the population increases, the number of people in any given part of the curve will increase.

Achronos: And what's this about a "design team" I've been hearing? Apparently stosh is so awesome he's now considered a "team".

I believe I read somewhere before that there were only 200 Mythic members allowed at any one time. I think that cap may have been raised though.

There are 349 registered on bungie.me so there is at least that amount.

Maybe there is a cap on the amount of members that can have a title, i'm not sure. No one has been able to prove it either way so far.
