you aren't good at this game.
haha, try me. Normally I'd stop reading but..
No, firing rate caps are there to stop spamming. Bloom was meant to increase the skill gap but failed hard at doing so.
It's a semi automatic weapon... the firing rate is as fast as you pull the trigger... the DMR has no "firing rate cap"
No, with bloom you can pace all you want and get killed by people who spam quite often. It is not a rare occurence, it happens enough that enough people wanted it gone so now it is
Not what I said.. I said that if you pace your shots you will always hit where you aim.. that's not saying you're guaranteed the kill.. And honestly, I don't feel spamming (with bloom) will win you a battle that often. You have to remember that most of these spamming problems come from close quarter combat.. but you can be less accurate at close range.. its just common sense (and that's not saying you don't have to aim)
Wrong again, without bloom you have to perfectly aim your shots. It doesn't matter how fast you fire because if you can't aim, you won't hit anything.
Think for a moment... you still have to aim perfectly with bloom when you pace.. AND you still have to aim when spamming (keep this in mind).. so say in a game with bloom, you are AIMING at guy, perfectly as you put it, and you spam the trigger (DMR is semi auto, the fire rate IS how fast you pull the trigger).. some of your shots may miss, but they might not (its like a gamble, but it still rewards AIMING).. ok now remove the bloom, the firing rate doesn't change.. so you can shoot just as fast as you can with bloom, but guess what, if you're AIMING at the guy all your shots will connect.. so this essentialy speeds up the kill time (which isn't a bad thing mind you, but I'm always seeing bloom/spamming being argued for the wrong reasons)..
Hit scan has nothing to do with kill times and kill times are on par with Halo 2 and no one cried about dying too fast back then.
The Halo 2 BR (post TU) and the DMR are basically the same weapon, since the BR's spread was practically nothing.. however, the BR was not hit scan, on larger maps you would have to lead your shots.. the DMR has hit scan so its more like a sniper.. leading your shots was a different skill altogether, and since now you don't have to do that, I've noticed its easier to get kills long range.
