Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

Just a small note really. I was viewing my own profile (overview) page as one does, and i couldn't help but notice what an eye sore that gamercard of mine is.

After a rather heated mind battle (incase you are intrigued, 'personal opinion' won), i came to the conclusion that a feature on the profile setting page to turn on/off the gamercard (i.e. display/don't display) would resolve this problem.

I should think it would be a relatively and reasonably simple job; yet i do realise that in the great scheme of all things website, it may not be on top priority upon the proverbial 'List'.

Still, i value your opinions and comments. That is all.

That would be a good idea.

dude, you pulled a jesus!

Well it sounds like a good idea, though I won't need it. It would be good for those members that don't have a 360 yet have that annoying default gamercard... I would hate to be constantly reminded of what I don't have every time I look at my profile...

Yeah. Its one of those slight annoyances that gets at some people. An option should be implimented.

You mean make it more subtle so it doesnt stand out so much?

not a bad idea, although i personally see no use for it anyways. It doesn't really help me in any way, regardless of what i use it for.

Not that i think it should be thrown out completely, but the on/off function would be set to off on this computer, i'll tell you that.

For Carnage, Apply Within.

I have returned from the Untamed Lands. MOAP is dead.

But then how will I be able to stalk people? :-(

Yeah, but I think that should be gotten rid of and bring back the ability to upload images in the chapters. An eye for an eye.

Yeah, I hate looking at it as well. It's an eye-sore especially since I'm all "Anit-Xbox Live" right now.

i'm surprised that it isn't a big hit in zanzi...since they all have a fight over anything that deals with rank...y not fight over gamerscores?

Let's be honest.
Few people will ever visit your specific profile. The profiles are fairly plain with barely enough room for essential information. That is honestly how it should be as it serves its purpose. The gamercard was a nice addition as it basically displays the main information of your Xbox 360 profile as well. One bonus of this addition is that you get to see an overview of how they conduct themselves on Xbox live which is probably also a reflection of how they behave on the forums.

The feature of being able to turn it off will no longer be necessary in a year or so when nearly everyone will have a 360. It would be a waste of effort that could be much better spent elsewhere.

If he starts a somewhat successful group, many people will be sending him PM's. That means they'll all see his profile, so.......
