Subject: How long has martyrdom been apart of halo reach?

i hope you guys know what im talking about.

When two guys are in a DMR fight or any close quarter situation, when one of the guys die they poop a grenade out of their lifeless corpse.

Or whenever you're stuck fighting for a position in a map such as asylum or sanc, such as ring 2 you're going to be stuck in close quarters so avoiding that live grenade is pretty difficult.

i hope 343 fixes this in halo 4
in the mean time this game is feeling alot like COD 4.

Wut?

martyrdom was a perk in cod 4 that was really annoying, it was when people would drop a live grenade when they die to get really cheap kills.

that same thing has been happening to me alot in reach just wondering if anyone had to deal with it as well.

yeah, outgunning someone and then being unable to avoid the inevitable grenade that pops out of their chest cavity like an alien due to reach's default low movement speed and huge grenade blast radius is really frustrating.

Your presence here is quite unneeded. Begone you!!!

There isn't martyrdom in Halo. That's a last ditch granade that the enemy probably thrown just as he/she dies and just happens to land next to the corpse you are probably teabagging.

Other than how it gets there, what makes it different from actual martyrdom? Both situations lead to the same ending. The noob you just killed gets a lucky grenade killbthat they didn't deserve.

..And I'm gonna round my f.ucks given up to 0.

its also a perk in MW2

I learned not to teabag anybody after CoD4. Waste of sweat and manual labor on someone that isn't worthy for even that. Not even if the ownage is unquestionable....

Don't even get me started on the phantom bullets that come out of dead bodies.

Name's John. I'm a 21-year-old firefighter/EMT from lolhio who doubles as a die-hard Halo fan. I've been enjoying the franchise since 2001. My favorite iteration of Halo would have to be Halo 2 simply because I never got to experience the joy of a full-on Halo: CE LAN.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Oh yeah, and boot Zome.

Also, I don't believe that you could shoot the grenades in midair so they blow up in your face.

Same, but it's a stupid mechanic in my opinion.

It takes skill to shoot grenades as they come out of an opponent's face.

If I could change a few things in Reach, it would be....

*Get rid of yoinking and medal ( yoinking is retarded )
*Force Bungie to work again and get rid of 343's existence
* A few other things

Thats because they hit the trigger as soon as they died causing the gun to shoot, quite awesome physics you got to admit
and besides halo does have the best physics unlike COD making a grenade go onto the floor behind the guy and it explodes causing the guy to swoosh backwards LOLCOD
