How could 343 Industries -blam!- up Grifball for us? I've played the sport since it existed back in Halo 3 and have always enjoyed the hammer smashing, ball busting thrill that this game offered me, and even when you tried to throw all these ridiculous variations in that nobody really cared about, the basic game of Grifball has always been a reliable source of hours of competetive entertainment across the Halo Universe. Now, however, with the "updated" rules it no longer matters who gets to three points first if five points have not been scored in the game. Which means that if I rush the ball in for 3 points in less than a minute per round that leaves two rounds for all the rest of these Joe Blows to have to decide whether to score their game losing points or just sit there and take it as I spawn kill them for three minutes a round. Once that third point has been achieved, the game has been won and there is no reason to continue playing even if simply to cause the other team a load of shame and misery. AND on top of all this, there have been voting rounds where Grifball wasn't even an option, leaving me to choose from Blargball, "Evolved," or Quidditch. None of these have ever been the reason why I choose to hop on to the Grifball playlist but those Joe Blows at 343 industries have decided that this must not be the case. I am begging you all from the bottom of my heart to set things as they should be so that I and my fellow Grifball veterans can enjoy the classic game in peace as it was meant to be enjoyed, not as 343 thought it would be enjoyed...
