I don't mean the Mod Stalker scripty thing-a-ma-bob, I mean like a list of forums posts made by mods, but mostly employees. Employees generally have the most informative and on-topic posts in the thread, but having to sift through sometimes up to several hundreds of pages for a scrape of information makes it an unwelcoming task.

It would be nice if there was a list, and every time an employee posted (and maybe a mod, but they usually post off topic and derail threads) their post would be hyperlinked at the beginning of the list. Then, someone like me who seeks the most informative posts around could quickly scan through and gather all the bits of information there are to offer.

I think this would be a good idea that could do nothing but bolster the overall intelligence of a thread without causing any problems. At all. I promise.

EDIT:
For reference.

Look how easy it is to get actual (and useful) information straight from the developers on that site.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I would <3 an online indicator that appeals next to someone's name when they sign in.

That would be a nifty feature! I feel as if that's not what this thread is about though?

On December 1st, 2012, I met Neil deGrasse Tyson. I shook the man's hand, and even made him laugh. Not much else to do with my life now.

This is the closest thing you're going to get.

Who knows! And I am not interested enough to go through each of their individual post histories finding the newest stuff be thrust out onto the forums.

Imagine how much more convenient a list of links would be? You would never miss out on a Bungie.net exclusive mod/employee-created meme again!

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”

I, too, would like this. It could be as simple as having an indicator somewhere in their title bar that displays, for example, a green dot if the user is online and a red dot if the user is offline.

EDIT: As for your suggestion, Cranium Crater, I don't know how useful that would be but I don't see much wrong with it. I just feel that if their was a system that displayed if a user was online/offline, you could go about the stalking via their recent posts on their profile.

You do realize that a list of links would serve the exact purpose as the individual post history right?

You seriously don't need to track the mods anyways. Things they say involving rules are things you already should know, and their witty posts in general just come with the job.

This would be nice. But to me it seems unnecessary. If a post has a Bungie member reply in it and it is a quality thread, it will probably be pushed to the top of the forums anyway.

But then people would be stalking them more than they do now. I bet Qbix would be surprised to wake up one night, open his window and then thousands of eyes are staring at him. Watching him.

Yax is a shining beacon in these dark times. You should all strive to be more like Yax.

Why stop there? I think every mod should be tagged on their left ear and bnet should have a page that tracks their movement and provides exact co-ordinates 24/7 (only for legendary members and above, of course).

If they had an option to choose whether or not they wanted their post to go to the tracker, then I suppose it could be a useful addition.

If not, then I wouldn't like it at all.

But, to be honest, I don't really see anything wrong with the current way of tracking mods; the ModStalker

But think about how much time you waste trying to go through each person's post history on that list! You'd never be fully up to date on anything!

With the option to hide that as well. I do like the idea though.

He has a poetic way of phrasing useful information that makes it seem slighty, just slightly off topic! But what about Achronos? Or The doctor guy.... Something Honeydew... Drawing a blank here...
