1. when an alpha zombie quits, make a secondary zombie an alpha zombie instead of taking a human. If there are no secondary zombies, then take a human.
2. Instead of "Randomly" picking zombies, have four rounds, where each person is a zombie once.
call me a noob or a credit whore or whatever you like but i enjoy playing zombies. i loved playing custom zombies in halo 2 where we set the weapons to never respawn and it was truly a game of endurance.
that being said, i feel the reason the games were so fun was because the maps we played on were exciting (zanzibar and foundation anyone?)
that is probably the biggest problem now. maps like sword base, cage, and boardwalk literally make it impossible for zombies to attack if the humans are remotely competent with the pistol. i would also like to see slightly "creepier" maps. it would definitely add to the atmosphere.
also, they really need to work out who is a zombie and who is a human. my solution is to keep it random but once youre a zombie, your gamertag is removed from the pool of possible zombies in order to ensure that you have to be a zombie a maximum of 1 time unless people decide to quit.
also, maybe instead of pistol, put in AR because both are medium range weapons but the pistol makes it absurdly easy to kill zombies at a distance.
that and remove AA and just increase zombie jump and speed.
