I <3 you too Bungie

It's getting really frustrating. When I use the search feature for a specific thread it can never find it. Example, I searched for a Tim Tebow thread that was in The Flood a day or two ago (wanted to add this along with some fun comments), and the most recent results are from several months ago.

It seems that the seach bar works great for general info lookup, but it's horrible at finding specific things that you're looking for unless you are looking for a user or something.

Help?

Then there are the people who poop in the mash potatoes. Those people get launched out on their asses.

I usually go this route.

Ok cool. Thanks. Hadn't thought to google-hack the search process.

Seems like building a functioning search feature would be a great thing for Bungie.net's next iteration *cough* *cough*

To make it more precise, one can type "site:bungie.net" then the search terms which will only return results found on the domain "bungie.net". I do this quite often.

Wow, that's actually really helpful for future reference. I hate the B.net search bar.

Agreed. I feel dumb that I had never thought of using google for this before.

Why are you reading my signature? Who actually opens these things and reads them!

And as always, SEND ME A PM. Please. Or really bad things will happen to you.

Restricting the domain of the search is probably one of the most useful features of Google.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Actually, Google is a more effective Bungie.net search bar. Whenever I'm looking for a thread or a user or sometimes a group I use that.

It is possible to commit no errors and still lose. That is not a weakness. That is life.

Cheeto is the only one among you that doesn't suck.

B.net search bar is only useful for finding gamertags and users. It's terrible at finding threads.

Indeed. I would recommend going to Google for searching for threads.

I play for fun and armory completion. :)

Yes, it is broken. I would try searching on google rather than using this search feature, just make sure you specify Bungie.net.
