I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

That is twice the population of Louisiana (4,492,076).

And I haven't even been around as long as others have. Just
thought I'd share.

My source is the Bungie.net member ID#. If you look at some of the newer members, I'll use a random member such as Marcus_Aurelius, their profile URL is: http://www.bungie.net/Account/Profile.aspx?memberID=11655929That account is the 11 millionth, 655 thousandth, 929th account to have been created on B.net.

So, maybe there aren't 11 million members but 11 million accounts have been created.

That's a common misconception. There are actually only 3-4 people among all of the user accounts made.

3-4 million active accounts. But there have still been 9 million, whether or not they are still active or their accounts have been deleted, members join since November 14, 2006.

It is possible to commit no errors and still lose. That is not a weakness. That is life.

Cheeto is the only one among you that doesn't suck.

I remember back when we first hit one million. We all thought it was a big deal. Now look at us...

I'm surprised that there are so many. Disabling account deletion has revealed that someone in fact did create all those accounts. I had always assumed that it had just skipped numbers.

I am guessing that most of those that came before me were Achronos' alts.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

That's quite a lot, but I'm sure some of that population are alts.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

That includes all the deleted users, alts, people who only come here for a nameplate, recon, etc.

Wow, that means there have been four million since me. I don't even feel like I've been here for that long...
