You get one warning for saying "shizit", and you feel that proves there's no favoritism? Oh, c'mon now. This is hardly an argument. You can barely deny that there is favoritism. I don't think it's because so-and-so is Mythic, but I think it's more that the Mythics have typically been here longer and are better acquainted with the Mods, so the Mods are probably going to be more lenient for their friends.

Also, Foman is one of the least-biased, so he's not a very good example. I think it varies from Ninja to Ninja.

This should pretty much prove there isn't really favoritism.

First on a BWU.. yeah, I'm cool.

ODST;MYTHIC Screenshot winner! One of the first to get their hands on the mythic map pack.

You should have seen the Mythic group over the summer.

I didn't necessarily mean all of them. Next time I see an example I'll post it here.

I haven't seen it, so I can't say whether your point is valid or not.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I think I have been banned by almost every (active) mod here. The mods are good people but when you get banned there can be that awkward time.

  • 12.15.2011 6:16 PM PDT

Meh, I don't really have that. I don't -blam!- about my bans.

Anyway I should post on topic for once.
No.

That's it, just no.
In fact I was banned once because I was a mythic member.

When you've been here a while you can't play the "I didn't know!" card when breaking the rules.

This isn't as true as you think. I guarantee that the mods (excluding one or maaaaaybe two) have no idea who I am. There are always those that the mods know here on the forums but don't think that all mods have a "friendly" relationship with them. Most of the time Mythics don't get banned because they know what the rules are and are familiar with how to present themselves on a forum.

LOL, you're highly recognizable, but you're not one of the ones that frequently break the rules. I've seen that number decline recently, fortunately.

That is a good thing at times. Being "known" is not always the best thing. But certainly I like meeting members on the site and participating in community events like Carnages, etc. Those are always fun. :D

I guess you could look back at all the rage threads you made every time you got banned. XD

Thats fine.

Since my list didn't crash Recon's Browser/all of it was loaded unlike some other people's lists, I think I okay. :p

(I hope) Going for not being banned for a while. Come back Legendary, it has been far too long.

If you get a lot of PMs, it's very difficult. For instance, it's practically impossible for me to find my ban messages. I can use the app, though.

Haha so did I.

I've never even warned him. Unless I don't count as active (and assuming I ignore his "almost" qualifier).

I don't really know anyone here. Some people say we played games together...but I've played with so many people I could never keep track. So, I don't know any Mythics or Legendaries (I have no idea how to pluralize this) better than I know anyone else.

  • 12.15.2011 6:30 PM PDT

I know that feel, bro. 80 pages. I want to delete them all, but then I'd lose my history.

The Joyeuse IP Formula

It's #occupybungienet all over again.

Let's not kid ourselves, here. No matter what I say in this thread, I will be pinned with a bias by others.

With that established, I do feel as thought I'm held to a higher standard. It's the whole, "you should know better" attitude. Although, I can make a jab at another member without getting banned, sure. But usually it's because many moderators will understand the context of my petty jab as an inside joke.

In the end, if a member gets banned for doing something that a mythic member has done but came out unscathed from, I must ask: Why the heck are you two posting material that could get you banned? IMHO, neither of you should be posting stupid crap and you should be holding yourself to a higher standard, if it's avoiding bans and protecting your title bar are what matter to you.

I feel like since I got here, moderation has definitely been more laxed which I like becuase you aren't banned for stupid stuff as much anymore.

But people will always get away with stuff, it's the mods discretion. But I try to be VERY careful about what i say as to not get screwed and see another message from the soul.

  • 12.15.2011 6:34 PM PDT

This is why you aren't held to that standard.

Most mythic members survived the wrath of Shishka. Once you have survived that, you have become a figment of b.net's imagination. None of of exist.....

I wish I could of been here for Zanzibar. I actually had my friends account hooked up on my GT since late 2008 till I made an account in 2009. But I am glad for the time I have spent here.
