In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Wow, this thread really "blue" up. Read the pun, it works.

I laughed till I turned "blue" in the face.

Problem in the meme, even though I laughed.

Subject/pronoun agreement: Hashtags and it.

It is singular, hashtags are plural. Still, funny.

OHO

The meme is usually "why don't we take xxx and push it xxx". That meme's pretty distorted.

That almost makes me want to post a Bungie.net moderator meme. Poeple made many of theme.

  • 12.15.2011 6:53 PM PDT

When I grow up I want to be bitter and spiteful.

"i liked the reality where everything was on fire better"
-legato on remedial chaos theory

It's an issue of color!

But in all seriousness, I think the issue is familiarity with the user, not title. Moderators are more familiar with older, more known users, and thus can brush aside certain remarks and comments because they know the users intention is not malicious. Likewise with newer users, intention is not presumed, and posts can be viewed with more hostility.

Since older, known members tend to characteristically have bluer bars, I can understand how the issue could be confused.

No ... wait, that makes sense.

THE MODS ARE RACIST.
"Oh Mythic members are fine upstanding citizens, but those other members, they're all criminals!"

It all makes sense now ...
I better regain my Mythic quick before I get banned for pointing out this racism.

I don't really think mods care about titles. The only reason Mythics are known is becuase they have been here for years and the mods know them by Username.

Spread the love...

Whoa guys. I made this post and then left for soccer practice, and know I've returned and it's exploded. I'll try to cover some very valid points you guys mentioned.

Evidence; just look at some threads on the Community forums, many of Mythic/Sarcastic replies. Also, there are several in this thread, but their just being ironic :)

Also, I recognize that a big reason that they aren't banned is due to the fact the Mods know that they are just joking around since they've known them for a long time. However, with new members, they can't tell if the member is being serious, so they assume he is and ban him. (or I could be totally wrong, this is just how I see it)

Anyway, I just sort of noticed this a couple of times and by no means does that make it true, I was just asking for the Community's opinion on this observation.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

I don't really know anyone here. Some people say we played games together...but I've played with so many people I could never keep track. So, I don't know any Mythics or Legendaries (I have no idea how to pluralize this) better than I know anyone else.

What do you mean you people?

OT: Technically... You're right. Seeing as how this has to do with title bar color, something that shouldn't get all the hype it actually does.

Have you ever thought that it might just be because people with (supposedly) higher titles just know the line of right and wrong on the B.net better and choose to skim it more often?

Well then follow the rules.

If you were banned "33 times" because you didn't follow the rules, a good idea would be to start following them.
