Halo: Reach is the beginning of a new age for gaming.
It proves that developers can get away with punishing their players instead of fixing their game....and yet the fanboys will still sing praises to them.
-blam!- all of you fanboys!
Let me give you all an example of what a custom game is.
Me and a cousin of mine took Bloodgulch, darkened it and turned plasma grenades into bright flares that would light up the night. We also boosted the power of the warthogs headlights, speed, gravity, etc..
We turned shotguns into non-lethal pushing weapons.
We increased crouch running speed.
We swapped projectiles on weapons.
We imported new vehicles.
...
...
Tell me....
Which Halo fits that bill?
I'll give you a hint. It did not have access to X-Box Live, thus it was not subject to the iron-grip MS put around modders.
