I'm really curious about a job at a gaming company and especially Bunige (like all fans). I would be extremely greatfull if you answered even a few of these question, to give me a fair idea of what I'd be getting into.
I'm just worried about wasting my time and money on a job that isn't right for me, but I can't really find as much information of it as I hoped I could.
What is a average day at Bungie for the average employee?
What are some entree jobs you feel sure to see opening up in a 2-3 year + degree's length of time?
What's the average work times and work calender look like (especially a rough idea of which days usually end up being the hardest days of work)?
What are some of the greatest aspects of Bungie that you don't see in other lines of work?
*Waites for watchful eyes to pass by and whispers* What do you think of the people that work there, honestly?
What are some of the less desirable aspects of working for Bungie?
Retirement plan?
Do you see the company making a big move in these next few years?
Any way I could get my foot in the door and personally check out the job?
Does working for a game company ruin aspects of the game for it's designers?
How boring is it really to work with C++ in gaming?
How often do you get to share your ideas with everyone, even if you aren't in your field of expertise?
Is there a lot of writing involved with working for Bungie? I (currently) can't write a 5 page essay if my life depended on it.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
