OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!

Is this where I'm supposed to say, "Let them eat cake."?
No, that comes before the mass beheadings.

OT: I think we should let natural selection weed out the weak moderators. I say they dump us all on a deserted tropical island, with nothing but loincloths and machetes made from bones. In one month, Bungie can return to the island and "rescue" whomever survived.
They would all just pull a jack sparrow and find a hidden vault of rum and get drunk until someone comes to help.

You wouldn't be coming back to much. We'd be up to our knees.

Small price to pay to insure Qbix doesn't come back either. (this isn't as fun since he never responds to it because his comp died)

Good luck, guys you always have my support.

I keep telling Recon he should retire, but he says that if he does he'll just go home and die...
He shouldn't worry, he'll just respawn.

the only problem i have with mine is that it's unstable,[very shakey],so you'd need a tripod for it.

Just drink a beer and everything will be ok

Perhaps we could have a day were the mods lost their power and the users gained it (not including bans). Let the Carnage commence!

Dude, there is only about 40 moderators here, out of almost 10,000 members here? that's only about 4/1000.

>That seems pretty small... >.<

Trolling isn't against the rules, so if anyone is banned while in the process of attempting to troll they're doing it wrong.

You needs must learn to become your own best audience when it comes to Qbix bashing. Tis a refined art few appreciate.

Oh, I still enjoy it. I've always done everything for my own entertainment. I just miss Qbix sending me death threats on msn as a result. Maybe I'll play some Skyrim. Since its pretty much a Norway simulator, massacring anyone in that game who has a funny accent is pretty close to IRL Qbix bashing.

OT: Uh yeah, less mods. Suggestion noted. This is in no way an attempt to claim I was on topic and not derailing a thread, because I typed "OT:".

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

This, even though many of the mods (I assume) browse Bungie.net often, them not posting can leave a sense of "vulnerability" to the forums and people think they can spam, break the rules, etc.I know when Recon posts in the Flood, trolling stops for a while becuase the "hardcore trolls" know that their trolling spree will end faster than they wanted.

But, it is always nice to have mods who frequent the forums, aren't afraid to participate in discussions, and aren't TOO cynical. :P

Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.

Your definition of "decent troll" is incorrect. Spend more time on the Community forum, that's where the truly good trolls make their mark.
The trolls in this forum are crap. They suck at it. But, late night in the Flood usually has great trolls I've noticed.

Just kick out all of the inactive mods.

Bungie.net seems to have most activity at night due to the fact people are back from work, etc.

But at those hours, there are often time mods aren't online or just not patrolling certain forums and a rule breaking OP can not be banned for a while. But you know a ninja is back when you then see 10 topics locked at page 1.

Just kick out all of the inactive mods.

Interesting, I would <3 more active and participating moderation staff but many of them are hardcore lurkers. Like they only post maybe 1-2 times a week/month. But yes, many of them seem to be inactive. I haven't seen The Don Wan for example post in a while.

Best of random chance

I only see about sex or seven of them post regularly, but as much as I want active mods, they're purpose isn't really to participate in forums. It sure would be nice though.

I wouldn't say that. The moderators are members just like us, only with Salmon text and banning capabilities. They are just here to keep the peace and have a watchful eye on the forums. Becuase, Achronos and the webteam probably couldn't single handedly monitor these forums, so much goes on and we have millions of user made accounts (some alts that people use). \

I think a reason some mods don't post is becuase they are afraid they will "de-rail" the thread but it isn't really that big of a deal anymore.

A mod doesn't have to post to be considered active. Often when a mod is more visible and outspoken, usually that makes them a target for the hordes of members here that want to harrass them or ask them questions. Sometimes the best way for them to do their moderating duties is to be completely invisible.
