THIS IS ONLY A OBSERVATION

NOT FACT

so ive been following tons of games this season

bf3,me3,mw3,sr3

alot of 3's

ive also kept an eye on many games that are a longer ways away.

some of you may be familiar with the dead orbit symbol

during my browsings i discovered some interesting similarities to some other highly anticipated games.

http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100327194254/half-lif e/en/images/f/f0/Aperture_Science_grey.svg

could it be that destiny is some sort of expasion on the half life universe.

also look at the symbols

the half life sybol is a lambda or "L"

could the dead orbit symbol be Gamma
http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRgYduvrLT0v7hQ2vWfhT NTiGxLWoc9y2GVZti0D1Tq9I_Udbxp

it theoreticly doesnt have to be anything like half life, the main enemy, the combine, is an empire that stretches across many different dimensions.

bungie could use this in there new game easily.

it may be unlikely because valve is not part of activision, but there are alot of things kept under cover right now.

Could the dead orbit symbol be related to half life
YOU DECIDE

p.s. this is how conspiracies are born

p.s.s. THIS IS NOT FACT

I'm going to debunk your entire thread in seven words.

Bungie's
New
Game
Is
A
New
IP.

  • 12.18.2011 3:10 AM PDT

IP?

  • 12.18.2011 1:23 PM PDT

See, this is what happens when children populate forums -.-

IP means intellectual property, which basically, in this case, means that whatever Bungie come out with is going to be completely new and not related to any other franchise that is currently out or known to be in development. Ever. Of all time.

Hey, im just pointing out how similar the symbols look.

No
No.
...Still No.
Bungie has stated that their new product is a totally new intellectual property which if you haven't guessed, covers a whole new franchise as in non pre-existing.

While they do look similar, I would guess that this is either a coincidence or possibly a joke within Bungie.

Either way, it's interesting to see the similarities in the symbols on the shirts. I don't think I had seen that one before.

  • 12.18.2011 2:41 PM PDT

Whether or not there is similarity, there is no theory nor discussion to be had here as we have known for ages that Destiny/Tiger is a completely new universe and IP.

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

I hope not.
